Our mission at aatvos is creating inclusive third places; favorite destinations where everyone feels welcome. The crowning achievement is when these places build community and users “take ownership” of the place. 
We are thrilled to share that not just one - but two of our library projects are nominated for Best Dutch Library 2021. In addition, our Creative Director Aat Vos is being honored with the renowned Karl Preusker Medal. Professional and prestigious, these awards mean we are getting recognition for doing what we love. We are enormously grateful for that!

The recently opened library of Goes (The Netherlands) is a Third Place bringing Goes’ inhabitants together on a cultural, social and educational level.

AAT VOS RECEIVES THE KARL PREUSKER MEDAL 2021

The umbrella organization of the German library associations Bibliothek & Information Deutschland (BID) e.V. (Library and Information in Germany – Federal Union of German Library Associations) has awarded the Karl Preusker Medal 2021 to to our Creative Director Aat Vos.
