In its sixth year, the Asheville Wine & Food Festival offered several signature events in downtown Asheville including ELIXIR (August 21st) SWEET (August 22nd) and the Grand Tasting (August 23rd). Approximately 60 wines were entered into the competition.
"Every wine we entered brought home an award," says JW Ray, winemaker and owner of JOLO Winery & Vineyards. "We were very proud of our first vintage and cannot be more pleased that the Asheville wine community agrees with us."
With the exception of the Grey Ghost offering which was sold out as of last month, all JOLO wines are available for purchase at the winery or online by visiting the JOLO Shop.
JOLO Winery & Vineyards is located in the Yadkin Valley Agricultural Viniculture Association (AVA). It is open to the public for tastings, tours, and dining and can be reserved for indoor or outdoor special events.
