Government of Mexico Hosts First Preparatory ECPA Ministerial Meeting on the Fringes of the International Renewable Energy Forum

ECPA Initiative on Solar Energy Training in Central America and Mexico Draws to Conclusion

In 2013, the renewable energy educational organization Solar Energy International launched the solar training program “Academia de Profesionales Solares de las Américas” (APSA). APSA trained 50 people to design, install and maintain solar PV systems and to successfully launch and administer businesses in this  industry.Read more

Flight of the Butterflies Screened at the Embassy of Canada in Washington

In celebration of Earth Day, the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States, through its Department of Sustainable Development and the Permanent Missions of Canada, Mexico and the United States to the OAS hosted the screening of “Flight of the Butterflies". The movie raises awareness about the conservation of this once ubiquitous butterfly species. Read more
