Development Manager (vulnerable adults and children)
Advocacy for All is a rapidly growing advocacy organisation which supports vulnerable people to have a voice and to have their rights respected.

Position:      Development Manager
Based in:     Sidcup
Hours:         35 per week

Closing date: Monday 20 July noon
Interview:      within 2-3 weeks of closing date

About the role

Due to the rapid growth of Advocacy for All, we have created the post of Development Manager (based in our head office in Sidcup) to make sure we win new contracts and grants as well as sustaining existing services and projects.

The Manager will play a key role in the planning and development of Advocacy for All and will work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure we continue to offer high quality advocacy and self advocacy to reach more people and to make sure they are listened to and have their goals and aspirations heard.

About you

You will have knowledge and understanding of working within the Health and Social Care Sector and ideally you will have knowledge or experience of advocacy services.  If you do not have these skills, you will need to work with our team to learn about our work quickly.  You will have knowledge or experience of fundraising and tendering.

You will be able to identify funding opportunities, prepare, write and submit bids to meet deadlines.  You will need a good standard of verbally and written English.

You will be able to work creatively and innovatively to develop new ideas and have the vision to take the organisation forward.
