Ready, Steady, Get Set - GAME!
It was one week of pure unadulterated gaming fun at swissnex India! The students of Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and ECAL Lausanne, Switzerland partnered with Indian gaming enthusiasts to create games based on the theme 'Indian Market'. The combination of Swiss precision and Indian originality led to the creation of some interesting and exciting games. This was followed by 'Gaming Lounge', featuring the games created by students of ZHdK and ECAL. 
TEDx Geneva, live in Bangalore!

On 11 December in Geneva, Switzerland, a TEDx stage will open to showcase remarkable stories of innovators, humanitarians, entrepreneurs, scientists and peacemakers about the impact they are making to shape tomorrow’s world. The ecclectic mix of speakers include Dr. Aromar Revi, Director of the Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS), Bangalore. The talk will be streamed live at IIHS from 6:45 pm to 9:00 pm IST.

The Upstream and Downstream of Hox Genes: A closer look at how healthy babies are born

Exploring and understanding new markets: AIT Camp in India!
The Academia-Industry Training (AIT) program connects scientists from top institutions in Switzerland and India to promote an international network and enable access to one of the most promising markets and intellectual capitals in applied research. 14 high-level applied researchers (Master, PhD and Postdoc level scientists) from India and Switzerland participated in the program. Take a peak at the highlights from the five day intensive training program organised by swissnex India.
At the Interface between movies and health
'Astu - So Be It' a movie that sensitively depicts the issue of dementia, was screened at NIMHANS, Bangalore on 14 November 2014. The filmmakers, Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Suthankar, and lead actor, Dr. Mohan Agashe, were present at the screening and audience interaction. swissnex India is proud to have supported the joint initiative between the Department of Mental Health Education, NIMHANS and Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (STPH) and facilitated the signing of an MoU between them on 17th November 2014.
When Art and Technology Converged!

It was an interesting evening at swissnex India when we brought together an artist and an expert on robotics to demonstrate and discuss how art and technology can go hand in hand. The event, titled ‘Convergence of Art and Technology’, was opened to the public on 6th November 2014. The event piqued the interest of many, which led to a full house at swissnex India and an evening of lively debates and discussion on the art in technology and the technology in art
