Pracman AG gets the swissnex advantage to launch in India

For start-ups looking to expand their business to foreign countries, India is an exciting challenge! With a booming urban middle class population and tons of opportunities, it is not a market to shy away from. These were the very reasons that prompted Purushartha Saini and Simon Bless, the founders of the Swiss start-up Pracman AG, to pack their bags and head to India.
Entering the Indian market comes with its own share of challenges and ambiguities. But, unlike most foreign start-ups entering the Indian market, Pracman has a distinct advantage – they're entering India through swissnex, as part of the CTI Market Entry Camp India.

Besides being one of the countries with the highest per capita coffee consumption, Switzerland is also at the forefront when it comes to coffee research. Sustainability is an emerging issue, trying to preserve the natural resources and cultural values in coffee producing countries, facilitating a fairer trade and looking at ways to enhance coffee quality. An Indo-Swiss project looks closely at Indian coffee by better understanding quality and labelling issues for the socio-economic betterment of smallholder coffee farmers in Karnataka. The project is a cooperation between ZHAW and the University of Agricultural Sciences in Bangalore.
