Fragments of Switzerland

Fragments of Switzerland is an interactive installation based on the concept of a virtual stage with visual and acoustic stimuli. The visitor gets a glance of different scenarios composed of live imagery from places all over Switzerland. These images are projected on a fragmented screen hanging from the ceiling, which aims to change the perception of space as time lapses from day to night. Free entry: walk in to Mövenpick Hotel lobby to view this amazing work of art!

ETH Zurich at IIT Techfest

swissnex India continues its collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay by bringing students of ETH Zurich and Zurich University of the Arts to the Techfest. At this year’s Techfest, two students will present the prototype of ADDit Concept Tool - a hammer drill, developed by students of mechanical and electrical engineering, ETH Zurich and industrial design, Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).

Attention Social Scientists! The Scholars Exchange Grants (SEG) as part of the Indo-Swiss Joint Research Programme (ISJRP) is open until 15 February 2015. These grants are designed to fund visits of researchers in the social sciences between Switzerland and India, for joint research, field research, teaching exchange, joint development of a research proposal and presentations in conferences.
