A week-long immersion into the space market to discover India's space potential

Space Week in India’ was an ambitious program designed and implemented by swissnex India to provide avenues for Swiss space organizations and experts to collaborate with their Indian counterparts. Delegates from prominent Swiss space institutions participated in the program. Read more about it.
Swiss Projects on 'Smart Cities'

Swiss projects on ‘Smart Cities’ is a networking session hosted by swissnex India and swissuniversities, featuring short presentations on projects of the visiting delegates from Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences and Arts, followed by a networking dinner.

Indo-Swiss Workshop on Medical
Devices Development

9 to 10 September 2016, Manipal University, Manipal

The workshop brings together biomedical, engineering and technology professionals to exchange ideas and put forward major projects to funding agencies. The workshop will identify skill sets and facilities in the participating institutions to complement these in major projects.

European Climate Action Day - Challenges and Innovative Solutions

The Swiss, British, French and German representations in Bangalore hosts the European Climate Action Day. Participants can learn about the contributions of European innovation that could help India achieve its goal, and participate in panel discussions on innovative solutions to address climate change in India, especially Karnataka.

Robo Revolution
22 - 25 September 2016, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai

swissnex India, Autonomous Systems Lab of ETH Zurich, Centre for Innovation of IIT Madras, and Workbench Projects will co-host a workshop on design and development of navigation and control system for ‘Nanins’ – edutainment robots, developed at ETH Zurich. The participants will enable Nanins to go deep underwater and collect water quality data while minimizing energy usage. This workshop is designed to encourage innovative ideas for water quality measurement.

BIG-GAME in India
27 September 2016, 6.30 pm - 9.00 pm, swissnex India

BIG-GAME, a product and interior design studio based in Lausanne, Switzerland, visits India to deliver a talk on FUN-CTIONALISM in Bangalore and Goa, and host an exhibition with Indian designer Itu Chaudhuri in New Delhi. In Bangalore, they will present a few examples of their work from around the world at Srishti School of Art and Design on 26th September and at swissnex India on 27th September.

'Grow in India' - An information session

On 26th August, swissnex India hosted students from the Institute of Area and Global Studies, EPFL for talks and panel discussion on the topic of ‘Grow in India: Agricultural Production and Marketing in Karnataka’ for the delegation. Ankit Khandelwal writes about the information session at swissnex India.
India through Nina's eyes

Nina Zellweger did a six month internship at swissnex India. When asked about her experience, she says, "I will not be able to detail everything I have learned, discovered and felt during the last six months, but once thing I am sure of, is that this journey to India has been the most fulfilling experience I ever had so far."  Read more about her stay in India

Amelie Bui joins our Academic Relations and Projects team for six months as a shared intern between HEC Lausanne and swissnex India. She comes from the French part of Switzerland, from the countryside of Echallens. Amelie will be a part of several upcoming projects at swissnex India. Know more about her.
