'Birdly' will give you an idea. A virtual reality flight simulator that gives you the experience of getting into the skin of a red kite and flying over a 3D landscape complete with wind, sound and smell, Birdly is unlike any other flying experience you've ever had. Solar Impulse lands in India

India eagerly awaits the arrival of Solar Impuse, a plane that flies purely on solar energy. Solar Impulse is an idea born in Switzerland. After successful flights within Europe and to Morocco and then across the USA last year, Solar Impulse now embarks on its round the world flight. Starting from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Solar Impulse will fly through Muscat, Oman and reach India, touching down in Ahmedabad and Varanasi.

The Consulate General of Switzerland in Bangalore joins in celebrating the 'Week of the French Language' - Francophone Festival, at Alliance Francaise, Bangalore, with the screening of two acclaimed Swiss French movies: Tableau Noir and Les Choristes. Francophone Festival is an annual worldwide celebration of the French language. Being the second most widely spoken language in the country, the festival is of great importance to Switzerland. Entry to the screening is free.

Swiss Robotics Guru arrives in India
16 - 20 March 2015, Delhi, Allahabad & Kanpur

The lecture series on 'Advanced Robotics and Artificial Intelligence' by swissnex India continues! In March 2015, Prof. Davide Scaramuzza, Assistant Professor of Robotics at the University of Zurich and associate faculty of the newly-founded Zurich Wyss Institute will visit India to give a talk on 'Towards Agile Flight of Vision-controlled Micro Flying Robots'. Prof. Scaramuzza will visit IIT Delhi, IIIT Allahabad and go on to participating in Techkriti, the annual techfest of IIT Kanpur. An enthralling performance by Compagnie Linga 
Compagnie Linga performed its most unique choreographic venture in Bangalore, titled 'Re-mapping the Body', which explored the relationship between technology and the human body. The choreography was unlike any other done so far as the dancers created the music with the movements of their bodies by wearing a sound chip on their arms and legs.
