Summer Camps
This summer we held 9 CS Summer Camps over the course of 7 weeks. Our camps ranged in age from our youngest in grade 3 all the way up to college freshmen! As a part of our Camps, students spend a week learning about topics in CS. For many this was their first in depth exposure to the world of Computer Science and we hope they continue their studies into the new school year and beyond.
Be sure to keep an eye out for next years camp announcements in Spring of 2016, they fill up fast!

For more pictures of the camps, visit (and like) our facebook page!

Each summer UW CSE hosts this event for teachers, where they learn tools to demonstrate the relevance of computational thinking to the lives of their students. This year we had over 40 teachers join us for this 3 day workshop at the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering at UW. Each day was packed full of up-to-date information and hands-on experiences to integrate into the classroom.
