At COTS Youth we aim to be real in our faith, have fun, & meet each person where they are.
Every youth can belong.

First, a word...

We're going digital for now.  At COTS Youth, we are focused on relationships - with God, with each other. Every week we go through the ABC's - everyone is Accepted as they are, everyone Belongs to the group from day one just by being there, and we strive to make sure each youth is Cared for by each other and by the leaders. None of that changes when we go digital, but it does look a little different.

In the coming weeks, we will get creative in how we maintain and grow those relationships.  We hope you'll come along with us as we try to figure things out.  Youth group and Sunday morning groups we will do using Zoom.  Worship is live streamed at

This isn't easy.  Select all those that apply to you: Schooling from home.  Working from home.  Suddenly not being able to work and having to figure out bills, food, shelter.  Suddenly being home from college.  Being in the same space as your siblings/kids/parents for looooooooong periods of time.  Routines upset.  Uncertainty about tomorrow, next week, month, and year.  And more.

We are here for you and want to help.  Who's WE?  Church of the Saviour.  Our pastors.  COTS Youth.  The youth leaders.  The other youth.  Other parents.  We may be physically isolated, but we are not on our own.  If you find yourself in need of anything - from food to conversation and everything in between - tell someone (Curt or anyone else in the WE above).  We are the Body of Christ and we are in this together.

Something to Think About...

"Don't be with anyone."  Even those on the more introverted end of the spectrum will eventually feel confined.  How do we live with that?

So continue encouraging each other and building each other up, just like you are doing already.
---1 Thessalonians 5:11 (CEB)

There's SO much to this coronavirus thing - to how we live and how we look at life.  For some the needs are immediate and physical.  For some the needs are more emotional.  What if there are spiritual needs in all this, too?

Take a minute to talk with God about your needs.  Take a minute to talk with God about the needs of those around you, and those who are a part of your life.  Where do you need encouragement?  Tell someone.  What encouragement can you offer to others?  You could be exactly who God placed on earth to offer it.
