ONRC Is Coming Soon

The ONRC tool, which RSL is creating at the behest of NZTA, is a version of RAMM GIS, configured to enable users to generate their Heavy and AADT criteria “at the press of a button” so to speak. Users will then use the tool to add other ONRC Criteria to their roads by applying their local knowledge.

The tool is being fine-tuned after feedback from Beta users and the NZTA itself. NZTA will determine the release date, which is likely to coordinate with the NZTA training workshops in July.

At this stage, it is recommended that users prepare by familiarising themselves with the ONRC purpose and process here.

Hello Chris, Goodbye Glen

This month we welcome Chris Upton as our Application Support Team Lead. In this new role, Chris will be responsible for RAMM's Support Team of Raneen, Max and Nee.

Chris comes to us from Telecom and prior to this, Ontempo, where he worked across Application Support, Testing, Development and Database Administration. As well as having a broad range of experience and exceptional problem-solving skills, Chris is a very keen cricket player and is a member of the Takapuna CC.

This month we also bid farewell to a great servant of RSL. Many of you will know Glen Nalepa who has been a RAMM Consultant and Trainer for over eight years. We truly appreciate his contribution to the success of RSL and wish him all the best in his new role with the Higgins Group.
