Eat Fresh, Shop Local | Open Year Around | Saturdays 9AM - 1PM

June 23, 2017
Greetings Market Shoppers,

When is a tomato not just another tomato? When it is available for purchase fresh from the field at a neighborhood farmers market. Residents of Sugar Land and beyond can enjoy the freshest-tasting produce, view one-a-kind arts and crafts and interesting artisan finds at the Farmers Market at Imperial, located at Highway 90 at Brooks Street (198 Kempner St in Sugar Land). Presented by the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, each Farmers Market at Imperial will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine, year round. Click here for more information!

We hope you can all join us!

Fort Bend Coffee Roasters

We host our popular booth at the Imperial Farmer's Market every Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Come by for a bag or a cup. All coffee that we offer is roasted in small batches three days before the market, so that everything we offer is at the peak of freshness.

We start the morning with 6 or more varieties of coffee, but our most popular coffees sell out quickly so get here early to make sure you get your favorite bag. Or better yet, place your order online and choose the Farmer's Market pickup option at checkout. All coffee is sold in 12-oz bags and is whole bean (but we would be glad to grind it for you if you don't have a grinder at home).

We also offer coffee by the cup. Each 12-oz cup is individually crafted on our simple pour-over bar. We feature two coffees each week by the cup. I use v60 coffee dripers and filters, and a Bonavita pouring kettle. We believe everyone should have a perfectly fresh cup of coffee, so every coffee is made when you order it. This does mean that your cup of coffee will take 2-3 minutes to brew, but this is a great chance to chat with us about coffee, or to go grab a pastry from another vendor to go with your coffee.

During the warmer months (which is most of the year here in Houston) we also offer iced pour-over coffee. This is a light and refreshing version of our pour-over coffee where strong coffee is brewed directly over ice. Come by and try the freshest coffee in Fort Bend County!
Did You Know?

Onions can make you cry and make your breath smell terrible. Believe it or not, the reason onions do those things are the exact same reason why onions are good for you. Onions contain over 100 sulfide-containing compounds. These contain a number of health benefits such as the prevention of asthma and some types of cancer. Onions are related to leeks, garlic, chives, and scallions.
