Hello friends and colleague artists,
It's Ricky Schaede here again, ready to accept your submissions for content for the Summer 2018 AOI Newsletter! I hope this year has treated you well so far, that you have been able to flourish as artists and as creative professionals, and that you are looking forward to an awesome summer! I am excited to hear about any events, exhibitions, and other cool news you have happening this season for inclusion in the AOI Summer 2018 Newsletter!
In the AOI Newsletter, I am looking to share information that is of interest to all our members. Before you send me your content submission by replying to this email, please carefully read the guidelines below.
The deadline for your submission is June 20th 2018.
We are looking for content that is of concern and interest for all members:
· News from the Society for Art of Imagination.
· Recent and Upcoming Group Shows that include many members of AOI.
· Publications that feature various members.
· Workshops, conferences and courses that could be of interest for members.
· Other community projects that could be of interest for members.
· Calls for artists, and other opportunities for members.
We will not have space to highlight:
· Personal projects, new paintings and other news relating to only one artist.
Please send your information in a format that is easy for me to work with:
Images have to be jpg format 72dpi.
Text must be in word files or included in an email: I have to be able to copy and paste. Pdf, jpg and other files do not allow me to do so!
PLEASE NOTE: Try to make sure your content is correct and ready for publication the first time you send it to me. If you send me too many emails with little corrections to your information, the emails will end up inadvertently going into my junk folder, and the newsletter will likely be sent with incorrect information.
Tentative projects or information should not be submitted for inclusion in the newsletter until all details are confirmed.
Submissions may need to be changed or rearranged slightly in order to fit into the flow of our newsletter. If you include a lot of images in your submission, I may not be able to include them all, so please put an emphasis on which images are most important for inclusion in your submission.
If I am taking more than a few days to confirm your email submission, please send me a facebook message, or text/call 519-217-3059 (Canadian number) and leave a message to make sure I have received it!
