Tastings and Events Celebrating NYC's Local Wines
Throughout March 2015
(March 9, 2015; New York, NY) -- March 2015 marks the fourth annual NY Drinks NY, a campaign providing New Yorkers with opportunities to drink wines from their state with free in-store tastings, wine flights, and other events throughout the month. Events include, but are not limited to:
March 9: Wine Dinner at The Marshal (628 10th Avenue) with Palmer Vineyards. A five-course dinner including wine pairings from this North Fork winery; $80 per person, includes dinner, tax, and tip.
March 10: By-the-Glass Takeover at Saxon + Parole (316 Bowery) with wines from multiple New York wineries, with new selections nightly, now through March.
March 11: Class at Back Label Wine Merchants (111 W. 20th Street), tasting and class with a focus on New York's red wines.
March 13: Free Finger Lakes Tasting at Bed-Vyne Wine (370 Tompkins Avenue, Brooklyn). A multi-winery tasting will feature wines from Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake.
March 23: Wine Dinner at The Marshal (628 10th Avenue) with Macari. A five-course dinner featuring local farms and Macari's award-winning wines; $80 per person, includes dinner, tax, and tip.
March 27: Free In-Store Tasting at Acme Wines (487 5th Ave, Brooklyn) to feature wines from Anthony Road Wine Co. on Seneca Lake; tasting from 6 pm to 9 pm.
March 28: Free In-Store Tasting at Bottlerocket (5 W. 19th Street) Paumanok from Long Island's North Fork will pour wines from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.
