King's have pulled together a video introducing the candidates standing for election in the role of West Yorkshire Mayor. People across West Yorkshire vote for this along with local councillors on 6th May. You can watch and share the video on YouTube and Facebook. Do pray for the seven candidates and for all who are seeking to stand or are elected to serve in local, regional and national governments (1 Timothy 2:2 - 'pray for every political leader and representative...')
All seven candidates were invited with four accepting the invitation - see the description on YouTube for links to each candidate standing. 
On Saturday 17th July King's will be hosting a Celebration of Val McMahon's Life. The celebration will be at 2.30pm with a buffet at 4pm. If you plan to attend the buffet please let Beka know - - so that we can cater accordingly.

If you have any photos or videos that feature Val or any of the children's performances please also let Beka know. 
We will be concluding our series on Acts over the next few weeks. As restrictions lift more people are attending our Sunday Gatherings at 10.30am in The King's Centre with live preaching and pre-recorded worship. If it is appropriate for you / you feel comfortable doing so please do plan to come and be part of the King's family in the building. We will continue to live-stream on Facebook live and shared later to YouTube. 

Sunday 24th April - Paul McMahon is speaking on 'From a Wreck to a Revival' based on Acts 27 and 28. 

Sunday's 1st 9th and 16th May - Neil Deakin rounds up the series as we consider 'Acting on Acts'. On Sunday 1st May the theme will be 'Abiding in God's Presence'; Sunday 9th May 'Taking Out God's Power'; and Sunday 16th May 'Living As God's People'. 

Pentecost Sunday, 23rd May - at 10.30am we will celebrate the Birthday of the Church and have a time of prayer for revival and the wider community. Pentecost Sunday will see children's activity re-launching with Pentecost planned to be a Super Sunday! There is dedicated space for children and families in the meantime. 

Also on Pentecost Sunday at 2pm there is an online National Prayer Gathering organised by National Day of Prayer. Details are at with this event aiming to unite the church around praying for revival, unity and healing for our communities. You can register to be part of this online event here.
The King's Centre is slowly returning to life! Over the last few weeks we have hosted Stagecoach Performing Arts Halifax and a wedding on behalf of Northern Lights Church. King's continues to meet on a Sunday and Monday's for House of Prayer and Coffee Pot. The development plans are progressing with Angus, David and Neil doing some amazing work - our next newsletter will have an update. 
The King's Coffee House will be opening again in line with the Government roadmap on Monday 17th May.
