Third Drawer Down is teaming with Arts Project Australia for a first ever Back to Back Art Attack.  2 artists sit "back to back" for 15 minutes of  drawing or painting on a predetermined common theme.  This is a great way for onlookers to experience the process of each artist and then get a chance to silently bid on each piece. A handful of Arts Project's talented Artists will take part in the Art Attack competition, and will go back to back with some of our favourite local artists.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to support this one of Third Drawer Down's favourite not for profits –  Arts Project Australia.  

Arts Project Australia is a centre of excellence that supports artist with intellectual disabilities, promoting their work and advocating for inclusion within contemporary art practice.  A broad range of artwork produced at the Arts Project studio  is available for sale including painting and works on paper, prints, ceramics, sculpture and animation DVD's.  Arts Project Australia is a not-for-profit organisation, which relies on government funds, personal and philanthropic donations, and commissions from artwork sales to continue their work.    

A phone booth with unusual properties.  No calls, but the chance to walk away with messy hair and a hand signed print or artwork from many of Third Drawer Down's celebrated artists. 10 times throughout the day, 10 lucky customers will be randomly chosen to get in the Art Grabber and grab as many art editions, gift certificates, products, signed pieces or prints as they can get their greedy little hands on. Any 10 dollar sale wins your chance. Get pulled out of the hat, and you are in.
