It seems like the summer gets shorter each year! As autumn settles in, it’s bringing with it a whole host of events where you can support Unison and hear some fantastic music as well.

TONIGHT - Celebrate Wendell Ferguson’s induction into the Canadian Country Music
Hall of Fame!

Toronto’s Hugh’s Room asked Wendell to assemble some of his favourite acts and put together a night of great music - but rather than make it all about him, he’s decided to make this a charity show and has generously offered to donate the proceeds to the Unison.

Tuesday October 14, 8:30 PM
Hugh’s Room (2261 Dundas Street W. Toronto, ON M6R 1X6)
Tickets $25.00 in advance / $27.50 at the door

Can't make it?
Well, you'll be missing out! But you can still honour Wendell by making a special donation to Unison in his name. Click here to make your gift.

The 2014 Canadian Country Music Awards

The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) returned to Edmonton this year and Unison was thrilled to be a part of the party once more!

The CCMA is a longtime supporter of Unison, and their deep appreciation for Unison’s mission to support all Canadian music makers (and their families) in times of personal or professional strife is reflected in their generous donations and the many opportunities they provide to build awareness of Unison’s initiatives and fundraisers among their membership and audiences.

For a second year in a row a portion of the ticket sales from the 2014 CCMA Gala & Awards have been donated to Unison. Thank you to everyone who came together to make this year’s Canadian Country Week such a success! We are deeply grateful for all of CCMA’s year-round support.

Special thanks also to Jess Moskaluke, who spoke so eloquently on behalf of Unison at the CCMA Industry Gala, and to Deane Cameron, recipient of the 2014 Hank Smith Award of Excellence, who urged attendees to support the Unison Benevolent Fund and Canadian musical education charity - MusiCounts - in his acceptance speech.

Break Out West 2014

Unison was thrilled to return to Break Out West this year! Our thanks goes out to Vanessa Kuzina of “Oh My Darling” fame who spoke with deep passion on behalf of Unison at the Industry Brunch and Awards.

Big thanks to Break Out West for all their support and including Unison at the 2014 BOW Conference.
