Fitbits are the wireless activity tracker that thousands of Canadians are using to track their daily activity levels, to motivate themselves, and even to work with their doctors to assist in pain management.

Your path to optimal well-being begins with a commitment to improve your physical health.

Fitness Coach Connects is a personalized and interactive program that incorporates best practices to help you understand and improve your physical health. Participation in this program means making a commitment to improve your health through education, behavior change and fitness.
The Fitness Coach Connects consists of three components:

  • An Online Program
  • Fitbit Zip™ wireless activity tracker
  • Three sessions with a Fitness Coach via telephone or Coach Chat

Quick Questions Answered

How long do I have access to this program?
You’ll be able to use the Fitness Coach Connects website and online tools for one year from the date of program enrolment. You will collaborate with your Fitness Coach for three months over three scheduled coaching sessions. The Fitbit is yours to keep!

How and when will I communicate with my Fitness Coach?
Upon program enrolment you selected either telephone or Coach Chat as the way you wish to  communicate with your Fitness Coach. You also set up a date and time for your first coaching session.

How can I be sure that my personal health information is safe?
Our program provider, Shepell·fgi follow the same privacy and safety standards for Fitness Coach Connects as they do for all EFAP services. They are COA accredited and follow the principles of PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). You may review the complete privacy policy to find out more.
