The Ecology of Mesembs on Quartz Fields in Southern Africa by Ute Schmiedel.

Ute works at the University of Hamburg and has interests in biodiversity, evolution and ecology. Over a number of years she has carried out original research into the biodiversity of quartz fields in southern Africa and the potential effects of global warming on this fragile habitat.
