Inspiring Wheatbelt Business Women
The Wheatbelt Business Network held its annual "WE Shine" women in business event in York on the 26th October.

“This year’s theme was about developing networks, skills and the mind set of business women to grow their business” said Amanda Walker, WBN Chair.

RDA Wheatbelt is a keen supporter of the work done by the WBN for the Wheatbelt business community and Director Regional Development Mandy Walker said "RDA Wheatbelt is pleased to be able to contribute towards this event. I offer my congratulations to all involved in bringing this amazing opportunity to the region and look forwards to next year's event".

BBRF Round 3
It has been another busy round for RDA Wheatbelt with staff engaging with 11 organisations. The level of assistance has ranged from general enquiries around project concepts and eligibility, to reviewing applications, providing comprehensive feedback and letters of support.

Congratulations to all those that completed their application, many of whom also applied for the  State Regional Economic Development Fund that closed two weeks earlier. The amount of work required to complete an application is huge and we a happy to support these initiatives.

We strongly urge potential applicants and even those with ‘just a concept’ to speak to us, as RDA Wheatbelt is keen to help explore all type of funding opportunities including State, Federal or philanthropic. It’s all about finding the best fit for your project.
