RDA Wheatbelt is pleased to release our Annual Report for 2019-20. Some key initiatives during this period include:

Working Holiday Maker Program. Are you an employer of seasonal or casual workers? Take the survey addressing skill needs in regional Aust. Closing Wed 23 Dec.

AgriFutures Australia – Horizon Scholarship Program. Bursary, PD, placements and networks to support students enrolled in full time study at an Aust university. Closing 15 Jan.  

Farmers2Founders Ideas Program. Funding (up to $3,000), coaching and more to support producers to work out if their business idea is worth pursuing, learn new ways of working to accelerate growth and create a sustainable business model. Closing 8 Feb.  

Overcoming Indigenous Disadvantage 2020 report released. This report measures the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people against 52 indicators.  

Regional Digital Technology Hub. Free, independent advice and support, helping regional Australians navigate phone and internet options and technical issues.

Grants and Funding Opportunities

Traceability Grants. Min of $20,000 to conduct projects that will enhance the supply chain traceability systems and arrangements that support the export of the agricultural commodities. Closing 21 Jan.  

Manufacturing Modernisation Fund – Round 2. From $100,000 to $1,000,000 to support manufacturers by co-funding capital investments and associated reskilling to: adopt new technologies, encourage innovation, become more productive and competitive in the market and create more jobs. Closing 21 Jan.    

WA Hiking Participation Program. $5,000 to $25,000 for projects aimed at growing participation in hiking in WA through the development and delivery of new opportunities for participation, skill development and/or building the capacity of leaders (including guides, instructors and volunteers). Closing 10 Feb.   

Women's Economic Security Project. From $50,000 to $300,000 for projects that build the economic security and financial wellbeing of women in Australia. Closing 12 Feb.  

Strengthening Rural Communities. Two streams up to $10,000 or $25,000 aims to give the thousands of small rural, regional and remote communities across Australia an opportunity to access funding to support broad community needs. Closing 23 Feb.
