When God created the universe, and man as its pinnacle, he “saw everything that he had made and behold, it was very good” (Gen. 1:31). He made man, not just male and not just female and not some androgynous being, but wonderfully male and wonderfully female; equal in worth and dignity but different by divine design. In an age where difference in role is often regarded as inequality of value, the Bible has something else to say.
Everyone is affected in some way by biblical sexuality and its distortions. The issues of manhood, womanhood, and marriage are the current hot topics both in society and the church. The question, however, is not what does society say, but what does God’s Word say about this. The masculine and feminine mandate is for Christians to live out God’s pattern for manhood and womanhood in the home, the church, and the workplace.
So we invite you to join us at our at Calvary Grace 2015 conference entitled “The Goodness of Biblical Manhood and Womanhood”. We have men’s and women's tracks in a pre-conference on Friday afternoon. The main conference (which is for everyone) begins Friday evening. The whole weekend is for men and women, married or single, young and old. The biblical vision for manhood and womanhood applies to all. Our prayer is that through the teaching of God’s Word you will not only see that God said it should be this way, but that it is good. Therefore we want to celebrate God’s good design for men and women for his glory and for our joy.
