September 2021
Dear Colleagues,

Welcome back to the Équipe-Choc Pedagogical English Community monthly newsletter!  We hope you had a restful, well-deserved break after such a demanding school year.

Our main objective this year is to maintain our connection to the English community. We especially wish to enrich our proposal so we can better support you. We will continue to strive to provide the latest news, services and tools available, and to support you in curriculum and pedagogical matters. Whatever the structure or layout, we are up to the challenge and ready to go!

My name is Julie Robitaille; I am your freshly appointed curriculum consultant in Languages and Social Sciences. I have accepted this challenge after 28 years of teaching and I am very proud to have decided to embrace this change. I am working alongside Micheline Ammar who has been doing a phenomenal job with Math and Sciences. I am very grateful to be learning from her experience, and I am especially excited to meet and support all of you for the next school year.

I am equally thrilled to be part of your community and I look forward to our collaboration. The last 20 months, unprecedented as they were, have contributed to examining how to improve our assistance to students and make our lives as educators as fulfilling as can be.

I wish to acknowledge the extensive work that Isabelle Bertolotti has done before me. She set a solid foundation upon which I will continue to build. I have every confidence that she will be very successful in all her endeavours with her new team, and I wish her all the best.

Have a wonderful school year!

Julie Robitaille
