This time next week you will be packing your bags and getting ready to head to the Road Nationals!  We are all looking forward to seeing you all safe in the Horowhenua/Manauwatu!
 
The Local Organising Team and our Commissaires have done a lot of work getting the event ready for you all so please join us in extending our thanks to all of them.
 
Following is more important messages for you to share with your school, your riders and supporters. Keep reading to the end to find out how you can win a POC Helmet!
Provisional Start Lists

Tent Sites / Classrooms
Schools are responsible for providing adequate shelter for their riders.  Please ensure that any structures erected suit the conditions and that these are maintained during the competition.  Schools are also responsible for removing any waste at the end of each day.  Please help us in supporting our host venues and respect their property.
Riding in adverse conditions/poor visibility
To ensure you are fully prepared for any conditions, make sure you have talked through scenarios with your coach or school.  Click here for some simple tips to help you in the case of adverse conditions
Support Vehicles and Restricted Parking
NO SUPPORT cars are permitted on the race courses at any time.  Any unauthorised vehicles found to be following the races will result in the rider facing disqualification or penalties.  Please stay put and watch the action go past you! All schools are issued with ONE vehicle pass for Saturday and Sunday.  All other cars are required to be parked outside the venue.  Make use of the FREE Park and Ride service we are providing.  There is strictly NO PARKING on Tavistock Road on Saturday and strictly NO PARKING on any part of Watershed Road
Familiarize with course and rules
Ensure you have all familiarised yourself with the course and the rules of the event. Click here to view the current rules.
Race Office
Each venue will have a manned Race Office.  This is the location for the Team Managers Meeting (except for the Points race where the Managers Meeting is in front of the truck), Race Packet Pick up, any lost and found.  As a requirement of our Health and Safety Plan we also require you to report any incidents or accidents that you witness to the Race Office.
Smoke, Drug and Alcohol free event
The entire event is smoke, drug and alcohol free.  Please ensure all your supporters are aware of this.
Training,warm up and practice reminder
A reminder that there is to be no training/warm up/practicing on the courses on the race day. All warm ups are to be completed off the course.
Thank a volunteer!
Volunteers are the back-bone of this event and we are extremely lucky to have over 150 people give up their time and energy to ensure you have a great event experience. So take a minute over the weekend and thank the volunteers as they are helping to make this a safe and successful event for you all!
