• What is Giclee/Fine Art Printing
• What types of files are suitable for getting the best image quality
• Different ways to capture your art into file form
• What types of paper Blick carries and their distinct qualities

 
Ms. LaBelle will also have a sample book of the paper as well as a book of scanned and photographed work on different papers and at different resolution qualities to demonstrate the importance of how much a difference it makes to have and achieve a high resolution file.
 
Ms. LaBelle will also conduct a raffle for someone to win 11x14 print on

About Etching Rag
Etching rag is made of 100% cotton rag with a smooth texture.  It is very much like the original etching and printmaking papers.  It is an archival paper which means it does not have any artificial brighteners.  Has great black density and the paper is a matte finish.  The weight of the paper is 310gsm (standard office printing is 80gsm) giving it more substance than photo paper.
 
 
About Noel LaBelle
Noel LaBelle graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco majoring in fashion design.  Her main focus outside of working is making costume jewelry and sewing.  She has used all painting mediums and loves illustration.  She began working at Blick Art Materials in 2014 where she manages the Framing and Fine art printing department.  She works with designing and production for artists, designers and the public guiding them to a design set-up around their artwork and/or assists them in printing their art files.
