MQTT Sparkplug Essentials – Publish/Subscribe vs. Poll/Response
MQTT Sparkplug Essentials – Publish/Subscribe Vs. Poll/Response
Continuing our efforts to share the knowledge around MQTT Sparkplug B specification, we released part 3 of our blog series MQTT Sparkplug Essentials. This blog post explores the many advantages of Sparkplug´s decoupled push-based architecture as compared to traditional poll-response protocols like Modbus or OPC-UA. Accelerating V2X Adoption with 5G and MQTT
Accelerating V2X Adoption with 5G and MQTT
With the roll-out of Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) and 5G networks around the world, an entire set of new use cases, such as Vehicle-2-Everything (V2X) connectivity, will emerge. V2X brings in a lot of opportunities to revolutionize road safety and traffic efficiency. However, there are technical challenges of transferring large amounts of data between the vehicles and the infrastructure. MQTT, as a messaging solution, helps solve this problem. Even better, MQTT communication with HiveMQ and AWS Wavelength will open up new possibilities for AWS cloud customers to create low latency applications at the edge of the 5G network. Click on the button below to know more.

Mitigating IoT Attacks with Key MQTT Security Principles
Mitigating IoT Attacks with Key MQTT Security Principles
With the exponential increase in the use of IoT applications, attacks on network-connected devices are going to only increase. That said, we can mitigate IoT attacks by adhering to key security principles – using MQTT protocol. Click on the button below to know more.
