Business Aspect - A Fresh Perspective

STRATEGY  / ARCHITECTURE  / RISK & CONTINUITY  / PLANNING & EXECUTION

AUGUST 2015

Spring – verb …to move rapidly forward; to arise from;  noun a resilient device

We continue to see digital transformation and disruption shining through as themes in our client work and as such, in the articles in this issue of BA Perspectives

In his BA Perspectives feature Michael Cook, Senior Consultant discusses how an organisation that is resilient can adapt positively to change and disruption; sustaining a competitive position and remaining viable within uncertain environments.

An organisation exemplifying resilience and forethought in this era of change is long-term Business Aspect client, QIC, one of Australia’s largest institutional investment managers.  You can enjoy a brief and exclusive interview with QIC’s Head of Technology, Mark Tsang.

On the delivery front you can read about our recent achievements working with the Department of Transport and Main Roads assisting them in an assessment of the portfolio management of one of the largest repositories of personal information in the state.  A piece of work "vital to understanding the technical and business health of [TMR's] portfolio".

Business Aspect’s own expansion continues with the appointment of a number of new consultants across the country, including Ian Palmer in Sydney along with Andrew Clark, Dan Woodrow and Peter Richards in Canberra.   In this issue we are also pleased to bring you interviews with two of our people: Carsten Larsen, consultant CIO in Canberra and Carla Scott, strategy, mobility and change expert in Brisbane.

We also continue to be active in the industries we represent with a number of industry forums hosted or attended by Business Aspect highlighted below.

Enjoy.
