Mindful Self-Compassion News
Join us for a 5-day intensive Mindful Self-Compassion retreat at the Galilee Centre from April 19-24, 2015. Contact us for more details as there are a couple of spaces left. This retreat is best taken at least two or more months after completing the M4 program and with sustained mindfulness practice.
The Ottawa Mindfulness Clinic is now offering programs in Mindful Self-Compassion at the University of Toronto's Applied Mindfulness Meditation Certificate Program. Watch for our 2-day introduction module and 5-day sessions in 2015-2016 semesters.
Mindfulness in Our Community
The staff at OMC have been busy giving well received workshops at various places in the city of Ottawa and surrounding areas. Topics covered have included mindfulness for cancer coaches, Chaplains at TOH, medical school residents, Psychology Rounds at CHEO, Academy of Medicine Ottawa and health care professionals at the Cornwall Community Hospital.
