And when needed, we can provide loaner equipment or acquire equipment direct from the factory, we can also facilitate factory repairs as needed. This month, Melanie Schuessler, Associate Professor of Costume Design, and Jeromy Hopgood, Associate Professor of Entertainment Design & Technology, attended USITT with a group of ED&T students including Rowan Barrie, Nick Casella, Ginny Reiche, Nicolette Pietron and Melissa Williamson. Jeromy participated on a panel discussing how to incorporate projection design and technology into the curriculum. His recently published book, QLab 3 Show Control: Projects For Live Performances & Installations, is a valuable resource for students and professionals in the entertainment industry who are interested in using QLab 3 for audio and projection control. The ED&T students took advantage of the opportunity to network as well as participating in portfolio reviews and design competitions.
Student designers from the recent EMU production of Harold Pinter’s - The Birthday Party, got an opportunity to show off and discuss their design work with the public at the annual Crossing Lines Design Expo at EMU’s Student Center Friday March 27th. There was a lot of interest in, and discussion about, the collaborative process among designers and between designers and directors.

So, what have we been up to since February's newsletter? As usual, we've been hard at work with local productions and installations here in Michigan, as well as various other locations. We've wrapped up our work at the Cleveland Auto Show, the Dallas Auto Show, and the Atlanta International Auto Show, and we're currently putting the finishing touches on the New York International Auto Show, which opens this Friday, April 3rd - and with Spring in full bloom, and Summer just around the corner, we're gearing up for more busy months ahead!
So, what else is new? WE'RE HIRING! TLS Productions, Inc. is now hiring for Account Executive / Sales Representative positions. We're looking for self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented business professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset. Qualified individuals will be required to establish and maintain all aspects of business-to-business and individual customer accounts.
