Our ETC Field Service Providers handle a variety of functions – advising contractors on proper methods for installing various products, providing phone tech support, providing onsite tech support when problems arise, updating operating software and doing new system commissioning along with owner training. And when needed, we can provide loaner equipment or acquire equipment direct from the factory, we can also facilitate factory repairs as needed. August was a busy month for all of us at TLS Productions, Inc. - Not only have we been busy plotting and planning our 2015 Open House & New Product Showcase, as well as prepping for the upcoming auto show season which kicks off with the Toyota / Scion National Dealer Meeting, happening September 9-11 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, we also recently conducted a series of cutting-edge new technology presentations for our existing clients, new clients, and the general public. The event, which took place on August 25th at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan was a great success, and we want to thank all of you that made it out to the event, and a HUGE thanks to the TLS Productions, Inc., Grande Gesture, Mindfield, and Royal Oak Music Theatre teams, along with Beth Stolzenfeld, for all the hard work and long hours to bring it all together.
Our presentation included a showcase of cutting edge lighting and video technologies. The presentation was designed to entertain and enlighten attendees while providing a glimpse of what is possible with the emerging technologies in our industry, from manufacturers such as SGM, Clay Paky, Martin-Harman, Ayrton, Robe, and Elation, as well as interactive multi-layer video technology from Grande Gesture.
After the presentations, we opened the stage at the Royal Oak Music Theatre to anyone interested in having a closer look at the technology. Our designers, sales staff, and company management answered questions and welcomed the opportunity to both stimulate imaginations and give attendees a better idea of the capabilities of the presented technologies.

Save the date! The Communication, Media & Theatre Arts Department at Eastern Michigan University will be hosting a Suspense & Spirits fundraiser Saturday, October 10th, 2015. The event will include a strolling dinner, entertainment, fundraising activities and dancing to live music provided by Accidentally Hip. Proceeds from the evening will be used to enhance and improve technology for the Entertainment Design & Technology and the Electronic Media & Film Studies programs at EMU. Once again, TLS Productions, Inc. will be providing equipment to help EMU students make the evening a visually exciting event. Watch for more information in the September 2015 TLS Productions, Inc. And, watch for the new book by Jeromy Hopgood, Associate Professor of Entertainment Design & Technology for EMU. Dance Production: Design & Technology is scheduled to be released November 13th, 2015.
