Kia ora koutou,
As we sprint towards the end of 2021 in what has been another challenging year for our community and communities around the globe, the summer holidays can't come quickly enough. It's a chance to refresh and reflect on the year that was and also set some ambitious goals for the year ahead.
These last 12 months have certainly seen change and some great strides forward in the Foundation. Bryce Barnett, Chair, Taranaki Foundation shared his Chairs Report at our recent Annual General Meeting and we invite you to take a read of this short annual update.
We loved sharing some of what we have achieved in 2021 and also where we hope to go at two community events in December. Thanks again to South Taranaki Mayor Phil Nixon for the warm welcome at our event in Hāwera and for providing an insight into the importance of intergenerational strength in communities. Last week also saw us co-hosting the Christmas Business Connections with Taranaki Chamber of Commerce. Thank you to all those who came along to these events.
Whatever your plans for the holidays, we wish you a happy festive season and a heartfelt thanks to all of the wonderful people whose generosity supports our community every day. Together, we are helping our communities thrive.
