Kia ora koutou,

We hope everyone is doing okay in their bubbles as we are again locked down at home in New Zealand! Thank you to all our essential workers and to everyone doing amazing work in our community,  we enjoyed this inspiring read in the Taranaki Daily News highlighting some of the great mahi that is being done by so many.
Did you know September is Wills Month?  A gift in your will can make a huge difference for community groups for years to come, but costs you nothing now. For more information on leaving a gift in your Will please contact us.

Trusts and incorporated societies may find that as times change so will the way they run their organisations. Taranaki Foundation is honoured to have recently transferred  The Harvey Symes Fund and The Rudi Milesi Fund which will not only continue the original purposes of these trusts but also  create an inter-generational funding stream for these funds.

Finally, a reminder that our 2021 annual funding round is open now and closes on 24 September. We have one funding round each year which includes applications for: Taranaki Foundation annual funding; The Tindall Foundation funding for Taranaki and The Hearing & Visual Impairment Fund.

An intergenerational family legacy lives on for Taranaki
When Vicki and John Haylock’s uncle, Dr Basil Clarke, passed away they decided to use some of it to honour his memory.  The Dr BF Clarke Fund will make grants which will forever benefit health, wellbeing and education projects for Taranaki people.
