Detach and
Enjoy the Show

A Clear Place with Jane Green

Learning to detach from a desired outcome is one of life's trickier lessons. It is, however, a primary principle in our well-being. Letting go of what we think has to happen automatically eases the knots in our mind and body. It is both freeing and empowering. When you find yourself stressed about choices or results: take a big step back, relax and observe the world around you. It is chaos or calming depending on how you choose to view it. Whatever you are working on in or around you, relish your role in the creative process ... trust your natural instincts and enjoy the show!

About this photo: Steamboat Rock at Banks Lake in the Grand Coulee, WA. After driving an hour or so away from this 600 acre rock of basalt, I was able to look back and take in the full vista. The sense of space, the stark beauty, the vivid blues and greens ... breathtaking!.
