Re-Enrollment for 2015-2016 School Year
Form & Fee Due February 2nd!
It’s already time to enroll for the next school year! The enrollment process occurs annually from January through March, and placement decisions are prioritized based on the following sequence: current students, siblings, then waiting list families. Tuition and fee information will be published on our website soon.

Current families: Access your Parent Login account to fill out the online re-enrollment form for your child. Your re-enrollment form and annual enrollment fee ($300) are due by February 2nd to secure your spot for next school year (August 2015-June 2016). You may include your fee with your February tuition check. Following the re-enrollment deadline, we will begin making calls to our waiting list families to fill remaining spots.

New Enrollment for 2015-2016
Waiting list families: We will call or email you as we get closer to your place on the waiting list to gauge your interest and readiness should a spot become available. By way of reminder, we go in order of the date waiting list applications were submitted (siblings included) and also take into consideration the needs of each classroom to balance age, gender, temperament, and diversity. Please note that while we aim to complete enrollment by the end of March, the enrollment process can continue all the way to August. Thank you for keeping us updated with any changes in contact information to assist us in this process. If we offer a spot to you, a first-time enrollment fee of $350 will be due to secure your spot.
*Potty Reminder: If your child will be three years old by September 1st and is offered a spot in our Primary program, he or she should be out of diapers by May. Primary students (not TOTs) must be independent with toileting before starting school. Please contact the office for tips or guidance on toileting.

New Tuition Payment Schedule
Beginning with tuition for the 2015-2016 school year, Athena will alter its payment schedule. For next school year, you may pay your annual tuition in one lump sum due July 1st (formerly August 1st) or semiannually on July 1st and December 1st, or in ten equal monthly installments due July 1st through April 1st (formerly August 1st through May 1st).

The payment schedule for Summer Camp tuition also will change, with payment due on May 1st (formerly June 1st). For current families on the ten-month payment schedule who are joining us for Summer Camp 2015, we understand this policy change means you will have a double payment in May. If you need assistance with a payment plan for May, please contact Keyla in the office by phone or via email at

Parent Workshop Series

Strategies for Parenting Siblings
Sunday, March 29th
3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the Athena gym

RSVP on our website

Conflict between siblings tends to be one of the most frustrating and helpless experiences for parents with more than one child. The endless bickering seems impossibly challenging to change, and it is hard to see a way out. Whether you have siblings who are already well versed at sibling squabbles or you have little ones who haven’t quite gotten there yet, you’ll find use in our discussion.

Athena offers parenting workshops for Athena parents taught by Bethany Prescott throughout the school year. Bethany is a trained therapist, wife, and mother of three, and was a Montessori toddler teacher for eight years. She supports parents, couples, and teachers to lovingly guide and deeply connect with the children they share their lives with.
We’re excited to open the parent workshop series to include your “village.” Please feel free to invite family members, babysitters, friends, neighbors, or other special people in your life.
Remember, there will be no childcare available on campus, so please make other arrangements as these workshops are intended for adults only. Babies in arms are welcome.
