Change for Good
Donations to Change for Good, which works to end homelessness in Bournemouth and Poole, can now be made by contactless giving, and donations to Bournemouth Churches Alongside Rough Sleepers and the Recovery course will be match funded up to £75. Watch this video for more information. Also, 'Hope' signs have been made by ex-rough sleepers to shine a light after dark outside churches across the town. Why not order a postcard?

New eco video: 'Contemplation as Rebellion'
The Revd Hilary Bond says, "This was our response to being part of the Christian climate action prayer vigil, which in turn was part of the Extinction Rebellion action in London at the beginning of September that coincided with the reopening of Parliament and the presentation of the climate and ecological emergency bill... During this period of lockdown the Cathedral will live stream Evensong on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 5.30pm, and on Sundays they will stream the Eucharist at 11.00am and Evensong at 4.30pm.

In times of crisis or uncertainty, trying to pray can feel chaotic. Looking forward to Advent as a time of prayer and reflection, this day turns to the poets to teach us how to pray.
