Making the Most of our Time

According to the NPD, about 91% of U.S. children play video games. While some video gamers do play it in moderation, about 41% of U.S. male teens feel that they “spend too much time on video games.”

Let’s face reality: gaming is part of our culture, and most of us, if not all, have played video games. That’s not the problem—the problem is when we extend beyond the reach of moderation and form habits that are counterproductive to our psyche.

In the 2015 Waqf-e-Nau Boys Ijtema Address, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba) stated:

"…Instead of succumbing to the influence of the society around you, you should try to influence the society you live in.”

Pause and reflect. gaming addiction has become a severe problem, causing both children and adults to spend time and money on vain and useless things. Take stock of yourself and unplug for a moment.
