School Fair - only 8 weeks to go!!

Yes, that's right! The school fair is in 8 weeks tomorrow.
* Jane would like plants to be delivered to her mums from 29th October so they can start sorting, pricing and labelling - if anyone has excess plastic bags they would also be greatly appreciated.
* Second hand kids book collection point is outside the Littlies Cottage - big black tub with yellow letters.
* Second hand clothes will be collected on the first Friday of Term 4 with later dates to be confirmed.
* Please only donate kids books, puzzles or games and any second hand clothing that is in good condition. If you wouldn’t buy it please don’t donate it.
* For those baking up a storm, could you please let Amanda know what you are cooking. That way we have a rough idea of how many cakes, biscuits etc. for packaging purposes.
Many thanks to all for their hard work to date. Ruth & Elisia

NB: If anyone has any queries about the fair or their fair job, please contact Ruth or Elisia.

Working Bee & catchups..

Thanks to everyone for the fantastic turn out last Saturday and for the many terrific achievements. In particular, the new water tank is almost in (thanks to Pete Thurling, Simon, the Biggies and Ben Guy for working on Wednesday to finish this off), the underhouse storage was given a makeover, and the sandpit has a whole new batch of sand. On two occasions we were told this was the best working bee ever, with such a sense of community and fun and a drive to get the jobs done. It certainly felt like everyone was working hard and smiling as they chatted away.

All catch up jobs to be completed by Friday 14 Oct please.
Many thanks, Mel and Gabrielle
