We have had an unexpected change to our stand at the Manchester Cruise Show.  We will now be on stand A1.
Look forward to seeing you there!

Winter Breaks

Thinking that you need to get away during the winter or looking for a break over the Christmas or New Year? Then now is the time to book.
Winter Sunshine
For guaranteed sunshine, plan to travel further afield. East and Southern Africa are ideal destinations with their summer weather at its best in December and January. The wildlife viewing is excellent at this time as the bush will have died back and the animals become dependent on the waterholes and the fast drying rivers. Add in time at the beach to ensure you have a great tan to show off along with your stunning photos.
Northern Lights and fun in the Snow
Many people want to see the Northern Lights at least once in their lives, and one of the best ways of doing this is to take a cruise up the Norwegian Coast. We would suggest booking a Hurtigruten cruise through us.  They are confident that you will see the lights on one of their 12 day voyages, and if you do not, they will give you another 6 or 7 day Classic voyage free – subject to terms and conditions.  They sail everyday and are a lifeline to those Norwegian towns that can only be accessed by sea. So you will be sharing your experiences with the locals and have a chance to explore their communities.
With dog sledding, snowmobiling safaris and a host of other excursions on offer you can be as active as you like. Flights are from a number of UK cities and prices are very competitive.
To book any of the above on your own bespoke, tailor made holiday please contact us on 01323 446550 or email . However, if you have the chance, don’t forget to come and see us at the Manchester Cruise Show – 26 and 27 September

What is this?

For a change this month we are doing a 'What is it?' picture and where would you find it?? If you think you know what this is and where it can be found we would love to hear from you, please email
Answers will be revealed in our next month's newsletter.

Last month's where in the world was quite an easy one it was the Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States, American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and the Canadian Falls.
The first  person to go over the Falls in a barrel and survive was a  63 year old female schoolteacher.
High wire tightrope acts used to be performed across the river. Most notably was "Blondin" who once actually carried his manager across on his back, stopping midway to rest !
The Falls make a tremendous sound as the water goes over and lands at the bottom.
Twenty percent of the worlds freshwater lies in the Great Lakes, and most flows over Niagara Falls.
Well done to all those correct guessers.
