Look at Venezuela and ask a Bernie Sanders supporter to explain why Socialism has failed so completely? Such details just never get mass media coverage.

Venezuela, a Socialist Paradise

How authoritarian socialism caused Venezuela's collapse

The government doesn't just control the oil industry, imposing windfall taxes as high as 50 percent on the few private sector projects that remain. The government has nationalized rice mills, large producers of agricultural products, and expropriated millions of acres of farmland; it has acquired some banks and shut down others; nationalized the cement sector; tried to nationalize gold miners; nationalized the country's largest steel mill and the country's largest telecommunications company; expropriated the nation's largest power producer (remember those rolling blackouts?), and more.

People close to the regime have benefited from many of those deals. Corruption has skyrocketed since the beginning of Venezuela's "Bolivarian revolution." According to the Cato Institute, $22.5 billion in public funds have been transferred from Venezuela to foreign accounts with no plausible explanation. Relatives of President Nicolas Maduro have been implicated in drug trafficking, with suspicions of drug money used to finance his campaign.

“Venezuela is a bomb,” says opposition leader Henrique Capriles, “that could explode at any moment.” One reason for that potential social explosion — an economy that has imploded, despite the country’s vast petroleum resources. As Nicolas Maduro imposes emergency decrees and attempts to shield the Chavista socialist government from its opposition, people are swarming into the street … and starving at home, and dying in Venezuela’s hospitals.

This is what “democratic socialism” looks like when it runs out of other people’s money, folks:

Venezuela Food Crisis "IF THIS DOES NOT LIGHT A FIRE UNDER AMERICA'S ASS "WHAT WILL!" LOL!
Venezuelan Economy Sunk By Government Oil (BAC, TAPR)

Maduro has followed Chavez’s goal of running a socialist country but appears to be moving toward a more authoritarian regime. The government has been accused of widespread human rights abuse and the harsh persecution of political dissidents, which has led to deaths of protesters. Earlier this year, opposition mayor of Caracas, Antonio Ledezma, was arrested after being charged with conspiracy to overthrow the government. He is one of many political opponents sitting in jail.

The U.S. government has imposed sanctions on Venezuelan government officials in the wake of human rights abuse. These include denying visas and freezing assets of the officials involved and banning Americans from doing business with them. “They can stick the sanctions in their ears or wherever else they’ll fit,” Maduro said during a recent televised speech.

Yes, there is a war. It’s between totalitarianism and freedom. When Madura was offered medical assistance from outside the country he turned it down flat, claiming that it was a conspiracy to privatize his medical service division. He then claimed, in a staggering display of deceit, that Venezuela’s healthcare system was the best in the world: “I doubt that anywhere in the world, except in Cuba, there exists a better health system than this one.”

Whether Madura is removed by recall, by a CIA-managed coup, or by assassination, the economy will remain in tatters. Apocalyptic writers such as James Wesley Rawles (the Patriots series) or William R. Forstchen (One Second After) need look no further than the economic and political collapse now taking place in Venezuela for inspiration for their next novels.

This is how socialism ends: not with a bang but with the whimper of patients in government-run hospitals dying for lack of care.

As Venezuela Crumbles, Will America’s New ‘Socialists’ Pay Attention?

Bernie Sanders is at the top of this hill, of course, what with his full and shameless embrace of so-called “democratic socialism” (sound familiar, Hugo?). Regardless of its peculiar and ill-fitteddefinition, we see an appetite to accelerate those same drivers of the Venezuelan collapse: trigger-happy price fixing, massive social programs, manipulations to currency, nationalization of corporations and industries, and the rest.

The logical conclusions of all of this have colored recent history with big, dark strokes, filling plenty of gulags and graveyards in the process. But for those not paying attention, it’s now on display once again.

Will Bernie’s league of converts pay attention?

The hard lessons of communism and socialism were learned long ago, but as we remember their brutal byproducts, let’s also resist these attempts to add “21-century” frosting to base authoritarianism, wherever and however it sprouts.

Socialism Lays Waste To Venezuela

Joel D Hirst has captured the agony of Venezuela beautifully. In this article, he explains how he sees it as the country’s slow suicide. He writes:

Tonight there are no lights. Like the New York City of Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged”, the eyes of the country were plucked out to feed the starving beggars in abandoned occupied buildings which were once luxury apartments. They blame the weather – the government does – like the tribal shamans of old who made sacrifices to the gods in the hopes of an intervention. There is no food either; they tell the people to hold on, to raise chickens on the terraces of their once-glamorous apartments. There is no water – and they give lessons on state TV of how to wash with a cup of water. The money is worthless; people now pay with potatoes, if they can find them. Doctors operate using the light of their smartphones; when there is power enough to charge them. Without anaesthesia, of course – or antibiotics, like the days before the advent of modern medicine. The phone service has been cut – soon the internet will go and an all-pervading darkness will fall over a feral land.

Update: YouTube REMOVED Christian Zionism The Tragedy and The Turning, Part I Full Documentary from BATR SARTRE Channel

Needless to say, this video was effective with over 26,000 views. Hope you will watch on the WHTT site.

I'm most disappointed with Google's anti Christian standards.

Maybe instead of uploading to my own account, posting existing videos from others that confront YouTube bias is a practice that everyone should undertake.

It is very sad when YouTube protects Christian-Zionists heresy and deletes any criticism.

If anyone needs proof who is dictating a "PC" safe space online, you have it with this decision.

This video remains active on We Hold These Truths channel. So why is our YouTube channel being targeted for removal?

Dear Batr Sartre:

Thank you for submitting your video appeal to YouTube.

After further review of the content, we've determined that your video does violate our Community Guidelines and have upheld our original decision. We appreciate your understanding.

Sanders revolt could upend Democratic convention

Sanders officials say that the Democratic Party should embrace the senator's supporters, not repel them. While they say they don't condone the behavior of some of their supporters at the Nevada convention, they blame leaders of the Nevada Democratic Party for shutting out Sanders' backers, prompting the chaos.

Clinton Foundation Bribes for Weapon Deals

“Crooked Hillary” is not just a nickname; it is a way of life. For the latest generation of indoctrinated millennials, who were educated in the black hole of Clinton’s actual political conduct for decades, the notion of selling out real national security for funding her family slush fund may be hard to swallow. For hard core Clintonistas, the practice of trading favors for money is politics 101, taught in the book from “Chinagate”. Lest you forget, “the transfer of America’s most sensitive technology, including but not limited to nuclear missile and satellite technology, apparently in exchange for millions of dollars in contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore re-election effort and the Democratic National Committee”, is a family tradition.

Another Secret Trade Agreement - TISA

The significance of the TPP -Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement and the TTIP - Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Agreement has your head spinning already, now add another globalist gift to the Corporatocracy model of total trade domination, the TISA - Trade In Services Agreement. According to the trade group, Coalition of Service Industries, "the TISA is currently being negotiated in Geneva, Switzerland with 50 participants that represent 70 percent of the world's trade in services . . . The TISA has the opportunity to address major and fundamental barriers to trade in services affecting the United States and the globe. Some barriers to services trade include limited movement of data across borders, unfair competition from state-owned enterprises, lack of transparency and need for due process of law, and forced local ownership and discrimination in obtaining business licenses and permits."

Money Center Banks and Stricter Financial Oversight

Once again, the practices of the "Too Big to Fail" banksters bring the financial money machine to the brink. The J.P. Morgan derivative losses and trading gambles by their "London Whale" demonstrates business as usual in the murky world of risk distortion. Even the vexing progressive Robert Reich makes an accurate assessment for breaking up the big banks and the resurrecting of Glass-Steagall.

The Psychotic Militarization of Law Enforcement

How did it ever come down to abandoning peace keeping and accepting law enforcement by any means? Even the New York Times expresses alarm in, When the Police Go Military.

"The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 generally bars the military from law enforcement activities within the United States. But today, some local and city police forces have rendered the law rather moot. They have tanks - yes, tanks, often from military surplus, for use in hostage situations or drug raids - not to mention the sort of equipment and training one would need to deter a Mumbai-style guerrilla assault."

Dissecting U.S. Elections - the People vs. the Pols

The establishment has an entrenched interest in convincing the public that their vote in elections actually decides who is selected for public office. That same power elite runs and controls both Republican and Democratic political parties. Only a neophyte or a delusional idealist believes that the voting cycle reflects the will of the people. When reform candidates engage in the primary process, hoping to win the nomination from either of the two major parties, they face the stark reality that playing ball with the money bundlers means obeying the directives of masters of the universe. These overlords own politicians, especially those who continue in office by winning predetermined elections.

Hillary disgusted with lack of Trump outrage? Look in the mirror

"If you drag a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you'll find."

Those immortal words belong to James Carville, the Clinton Democratic operative who — with Hillary's assent — set the tone on how the Clintons would treat women who dared accuse former President Clinton of sexual harassment.

How Donald Trump turned the tables on The New York Times

Brewer Lane's appearance on Fox lent him support. At 6:15 a.m., she appeared on "Fox & Friends" and lambasted the paper for putting a "negative connotation" on her quotes.

Forty-five minutes later, Trump tweeted: "That was an amazing interview on @foxandfriends - I hope the rest of the media picks it up to show how totally dishonest the @nytimes is!" Then he called "New Day."

During the 1970s, Venezuela was the richest country in Latin America. With the region’s highest growth rates and the lowest levels of inequality, it was also one of the most stable democracies in the Americas. But starting in the early 1980s, things fell apart. The nation endured three coup attempts and one presidential impeachment. Per capita growth plunged, and mass protests became the norm. What happened?
