Bob Woodward Intelligence Spook

'Bob Woodward is a liar!' Trump opens up on famed Watergate reporter with both barrels
  • President Trump continued slamming Bob Woodward and his forthcoming book on Monday following a stinging 'TODAY' show interview
  • He says the journalist behind the attack-dog tome used 'disproven' anonymous sources to kneecap him and is 'a liar'
  • 'Fear' is at the top of the Amazon bestseller list but Trump insists it's 'just another assault'
  • Also claimed that when James Mattis and John Kelly deny what he wrote about them privately insulting Trump , they're trying to 'protect their jobs'
The war between Donald Trump and Bob Woodward entered a new phase on Monday, with the famed Watergate reporter saying the president is waging 'a war on truth' and his senior aides are following suit.

Trump fired back on Twitter, calling Woodward 'a liar' just one day before his deep-dive book 'Fear' hits bookstore shelves.

NBC 'TODAY' show anchor Savannah Guthrie pressed Woodward on the nature of his research, pointing out that the book relies heavily on accounts from people who he doesn't identify.

'It is mostly anonymous sources in here. Why should people trust you?' she asked.

Gary Cohn takes on Bob Woodward

Gary Cohn, former White House economic adviser to President Trump, is taking on Bob Woodward's "Fear" with a statement calling it inaccurate — but is declining to say what specifically Woodward has gotten wrong.

What he's saying: "This book does not accurately portray my experience at the White House," Cohn told Axios in a statement. "I am proud of my service in the Trump Administration, and I continue to support the President and his economic agenda."
  • Cohn, the former second in command at Goldman Sachs, makes frequent appearances in Woodward's inside account of the Trump White House, which was officially published Tuesday after a week of leaks and hype.
Between the lines: Cohn cited no specific objections to Woodward's extensive reporting of his private views that Trump needed to be saved from his most dangerous impulses. We're told the book is based on hundreds of hours of interviews, most of which were taped with the consent of the source.
  • The book has caused heartburn in the White House, with Trump trashing it repeatedly on Twitter.
  • Trump has privately been angry at both Gary Cohn's and Rob Porter's starring roles in the book, which both Trump and White House officials view as evidence that they were major sources for the author.
  • Woodward's book opens with a dramatic scene in which Cohn sneaks into the Oval Office and removes from the president's desk a one-page draft letter addressed to the South Korean president, terminating the United States-Korea Free Trade Agreement.
  • "I stole it off his desk," Woodward quotes Cohn as later telling an associate. "I wouldn't let him see it. He's never going to see that document. Got to protect the country."
The bottom line: The vast majority of the scenes involving Cohn reflect reporting that Axios has done over the course of the Trump presidency.
Ex-Trump lawyer John Dowd disputes details in Bob Woodward book

President Trump's former attorney John Dowd is disputing details in a new book by Bob Woodward that describes him calling Trump a "fucking liar" and cautioning the president that he could end up wearing "an orange jump suit."

Dowd said the book, "Fear: Trump in the White House," misquotes him and describes events that did not happen, including a mock interview he allegedly conducted with Trump in January.

Woodward wrote that Dowd staged the mock interview and saw the "full nightmare" of possibilities if Trump were to sit down with special counsel Robert Mueller, as Trump acted as an "aggrieved Shakespearean king" prone to lying.

 The Woodward Cover-Up

On Oct. 24, if not earlier, the Washington Post editor learned that his star reporter Bob “Mr. Run Amok” Woodward had held back key information about the CIA leak scandal for two years.

And on Nov. 3, when Special Prosecutor Pat Fitzgerald contacted Woodward to get his testimony, another major piece of news came into Downie’s orbit. What did the editor of the scrappy paper that exposed Watergate and brought down President Nixon do with that scoop? He sat on it for two additional weeks, still failing to inform Washingtonians about a major development in a case that goes to the heart of the biggest government fraud ever put over on the American people.
The president has vehemently denied the book's accuracy, tweeting last week that the book is a "scam," uses "lies and phony sources," and that he doesn't "talk the way I am quoted." Members of the Trump administration have joined the president in attacking the book, and accusing Woodward, the Watergate journalist who has published 20 books on the White House since the Nixon era.

"I think the main problem in that book is the two-person conversations that are being related without the second person ever being consulted. Did you say this? Is it true?" White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said on "Fox & Friends" Monday morning.

"I don't suspect Bob Woodward himself would have checked the facts, but how about a fact-checker in some of these publishing offices," Conway added on Fox Monday morning. "This is probably the fourth or fifth book in a row where folks aren't necessarily checking the facts with the people who have the quotes attributed to them."

Obama Zombie Followers

Barack Hussein Obama has emerged from his crypt. One of the time-honored practices when a President leaves office has been that they fade into the obscurity of retirement. As witnessed with George W. Bush, the public has not been burdened with his political involvement or wisdom of his years as commander and chief. The same cannot be said about Obama, the perpetual narcissist former head of state. This globalist CIA President caused severe damage to the Republic that any rational citizen would readily admit. Yet, this failed X-President has never shed his vision of grandeur. If anyone doubts about this assessment just reflect on his latest 64-minute speech.  President Barack Obama Rips President Donald Trump: Full Speech 9/7/2018.

In Search of an Ebola and ISIS Free Zone

The Comité De Salut Public during the French Revolution exhibited a pattern for nightmares far removed from their stated purpose as a Committee of Public Safety. The reign of terror that arose from the shambles created by the Society of the Jacobins, based upon extreme egalitarianism, actually produced a most violent outcome.  If you are one of those lost souls who cling to the latest narrative from the designer media reporting machine, the fear factor is working overtime. What can be more impartial than the threat of succumbing to an Ebola epidemic? Well, if you believe this hysteria, maybe the imminent acts of terror from those Islamic fascists; now called ISIS, will get your blood pressure to spike. Both share a paranoia manufactured in the labs of mind control more than in the actuary records of fact.

Despite having the biggest military budget in the world, five times larger than the next six countries, the largest number of military bases-over 180- in the world and the most expensive military industrial complex, the US has failed to win a single war in the 21st century. In this paper we will enumerate the wars […]

This is the 17th anniversary of 9/11. During the years that have passed large numbers of experts have established conclusively that the official government account of the event is false. Every year fewer people believe the unbelievable conspiracy theory that a handful of Saudi Arabians outwitted the entirety of the US National Security State and […]

Life in a post-9/11 America increasingly feels like an endless free fall down a rabbit hole into a terrifying, dystopian alternative reality in which the citizenry has no rights, the government is no friend to freedom, and everything we ever knew and loved about the values and principles that once made this country great has […]

When former President Barack Obama blasted President Trump in a blistering speech that derided his successor’s frequent clashes with the press, he skirted the fact that his own administration surveilled reporters – and even polygraphed intelligence agency employees – in an effort to nail leakers.

“It’s probably a good time to remind you that Obama used the Espionage Act to go after whistleblowers who leaked to journalists more than all previous presidents combined,” GOP consultant Caleb Hull tweeted.

Here’s The Criticism Jeff Bezos and Amazon Actually Deserve…

The CIA pays Amazon $600 million per year. Jeff Bezos is the founder and CEO of Amazon. And Jeff Bezos is the sole owner of the Washington Post.

Does that sound like a conflict of interest to you?

It is also interesting to note that the Washington Post has long been associated with the CIA. Project Mockingbird was a CIA operation which paid American journalists to publish certain information and bury other facts, depending on the interests of the CIA.

"Trump voters today are somewhat more positive towards Russia than his supporters were just after the party conventions last summer," a summary accompanying the poll issued Wednesday stated. "Today, the percentage of Trump supporters viewing Russia as either unfriendly or as an enemy has dropped 11 points, from 67% then to 56% now."
