It's your money - Lower Taxes = Prosperity

In blue states like Oregon, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Hawaii, the top state income tax rate is 8 to 10 percent. In Jerry Brown’s California and Andrew Cuomo’s New York, it hits 13 percent — before adding property taxes on homes and condos in Manhattan and second homes out on Long Island.

Virtually eliminating state and local tax deductions is going to cause some of the rich to consider relocating to low-tax or no-tax red states in the Sun Belt like Florida. And it is going to put pressure on blue state pols to cease adding to the state and local tax burdens that Uncle Sam is not longer helping to carry.

Regarding states with high state and local taxes, some of which were opposed to the tax bill because it takes away some of the deductions for these expenses, Norquist said the legislation could force some states to change for the better.

"You only fix those [problems regarding high state and local taxes] with Republican governors and Republican legislatures, and you don't get those if the cost of government is hidden," Norquist said. "The Trump administration, the Republican Party, did New Jersey a big favor. Ten years from now, 20 years from now, New Jersey may not be Florida or Texas, but it won't be the New Jersey of old, and that's good for your property values, and that's good for jobs."

Pressure Blue States to Reduce Government Spending
New tax bill paves way for era of prosperity in 2018 and beyond

As we begin 2018, we have set the framework to usher in a new era of American prosperity. Relief is on the way for working-class American families, many of whom now live paycheck to paycheck. According to recent studies, a majority of these families have less than a $400 cash reserve to handle financial emergencies. In addition, many of these individuals and families have experienced little to no growth in their take-home pay during the 2006-2016 time period. During that time, income inequality grew at the fastest rate in decades, while these families were left behind and saddled with higher health-care costs and higher costs of living.

These families are helped by four major reforms. First, by nearly doubling the standard deduction — to $12,000 for individuals and $24,000 for joint filers — their tax-free earnings are significantly larger. Second, doubling the Child Tax Credit will give parents extra money to meet their families’ living expenses. Third, lowering tax rates across the board allows every American to receive a long-overdue tax cut. Fourth, and most importantly, the tax reforms for American businesses will generate hundreds of thousands of new jobs and larger paychecks.
David McIntosh, president of the Club for Growth, believes “there’s no reason to wait another 30 years to enact additional reform.”

Among his proposals:

• Enacting “a real 25 percent maximum rate for businesses organized as subchapter S corps or LLCs, rather than artificial exclusions for sectors like financial services, and unfairly excluding 80 percent of business income from the pass-through rate.”

• Making temporary tax cuts permanent for individuals.

• Abolishing the death tax on estates.

• Repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax.

• Lowering the capital gains tax rates to boost investing in the economy.

• Repealing the Obamacare taxes.

All of these additional tax changes, or even some of them, will significantly accelerate economic growth in the years to come, and bring in much higher tax revenues to dramatically shrink the government’s monstrous debt.

New IRS 2018 Tax Code Screws Crypto Traders!

The Bottom Line

The tax bill will affect us all from 2018 through 2025 and beyond. It will change how much money is in our bank accounts after each time we get paid and after we file our taxes each year. Some of us will have lower tax bills and be able to pay off our debts faster or put more money in our retirement accounts. Some of us will have higher tax bills and we might have a harder time making ends meet or saving for the future. If health insurance premiums increase significantly because of the mandate repeal, any tax savings could be moot. And because many of the bill’s provisions require IRS guidance and must go through a rule-writing process, we may not even know for sure exactly what we’re dealing with until sometime next year. Stay tuned.

At its Dec. 13 meeting, the Federal Reserve raised the benchmark fed funds rate by 0.25 percent, to a target rate of 1.25 to 1.50 percent. The fed funds rate is what short-term debt is often based upon.

The surprise, however, was the Fed’s upward revisions on the strength of the American economy.

The Millennial Utopian Society
In order to understand the millennial phenomena that has influenced the beginning years of the 21st century, acknowledgement that the under thirty sect is quite different from their parents generation is crucial. Back some fifty plus years the popular saying coined by Jack Weinberg was  "Don't trust anyone over 30". The crowning irony is that this mindset was expressed during the "Free Speech Movement at UC Berkeley which was a struggle by students over the right to engage in political speech on campus, which helped to catalyze broader political activism on campuses around the country over student rights, civil rights and the Vietnam War".

When it comes to the meaning of language, the courts are the greatest purveyor of trickery, distortion and perverted interpretation. These illegitimate gatekeepers for corrupt government, are authorized assassins, appointed to bring legal cover to Just Us; namely the State. Justice for the people is more than collateral damage for the few; it is systematic denial for the many. The recent Court of Appeals decision that shreds the NYS Constitution in the Pork Lawsuit proves that the rule of law is a charade. The court’s codified endorsement for official money laundering, demonstrates that the practice of the law is nothing more than enabling the criminal syndicate of the political class.

It is becoming a cliché that America is undergoing its own version of Chairman Mao’s Cultural Revolution.Obama’s 2012 reelection strategy unleashed energies reminiscent of those that plagued China from 1966 through Mao’s death in 1976. The most obvious example is the current urge to topple statues of past American heroes, which is reminiscent of the […]

The call for endless diversity and multiculturalism by America’s elites creates conflict, confusion and bewilderment. Whether you listen to CNN, NPR and PBS, or read the New York Times, The Atlantic Monthly or Washington Post—those media outlets run sob stories, powder puff pieces and biased accounts of America’s guilt as to racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia and […]

For a decade central banks have printed enormous quantities of new money. The excuse is to stimulate the economy by reviving inflation. However, the money has, for the most part, driven up the prices of financial assets instead of consumer and producer prices. The result has been a massive increase in the inequality of income, […]

We are concerned by recent strident and stark public statements from key members of your Administration that paint Iran in very alarmist terms. The Clinton Foundation’s illegal international fundraising and operations could prove to be its undoing in 2018, according to Ortel. A major French government investigation has been in progress for months, and a similar probe is shaping up in Sweden, he said. The foundation has received millions of dollars from both governments and from private entities in those countries.

Comey told the nation he would not recommend prosecution of Clinton, even though at least 22 emails on her private server were found to contain highly classified material, and federal law stipulates jail time and other stiff penalties for gross negligence in handling such documents. The intent of the person mishandling the documents is irrelevant under the law.

In effect, according to former U.S. Attorney Andrew C. McCarthy, writing in National Review the day Comey announced his decision, the FBI chief “rewrote the statute” to “give Mrs. Clinton a pass.”

Newt Gingrich promises “enormous shock” in 2018

The former speaker has taken to Fox News to proclaim that because of all the fake news and lying about Donald Trump, "the size of the GOP victory in 2018 will be an enormous shock." He quotes a political blogger named Barry Casselman, who argues that because Roy Moore lost the seat in Alabama and the Democrats forced Al Franken from the Senate, the Republicans will win more seats in 2018 and it could be a big red wave instead of a blue wave.

First, the takedown of Judge Moore was not about alleged sexual misconduct.

Second, a calculated and diabolical political strategy of the Purple Revolution.

Third, battle to save America from the Uniparty will be decided in 2018.

If we conservatives lose either house in the 2018 election, the swamp-draining pumps will grind instantly to a halt. and the next two years will offer nothing but scorched-earth political warfare to destroy Donald Trump.
