It has been an amazing year for St. Andrew's! From a fundraising standpoint, we reached and exceeded many of our goals, and had lots of fun while doing it. I personally want to thank all of our parent volunteers and our faculty and staff for helping with all of our fundraising and community building events. You are the greatest!
We are recruiting 22-23 Room Parents and volunteers! Please fill out this quick Google Form, and we will follow up with more information. Thank you!

Cardinals in Action
All of our students, teachers, parents, and alumni volunteers had a great time at our Annual Joseph M. Schmidt Play Day at Avenger Field on Tuesday, May 24. Thanks to Coach KJ for organizing such a fun event!
The little ones in Honeybees 1 enjoyed the outdoors this week. We caught and explored ladybugs, ate popsicles, had fun with some outdoor chalk, and took a nice stroll around the school. We are so excited for Summer! Thank you all for an amazing school year!
This week the Bluebirds 1 had a blast getting ready for a sweet summer! We ended our last week of the academic school year with fun and learning of course.  The children made a popsicle art craft which they were super excited about making. They also painted their pet rocks, made ice cream in a bag, did a spray bottle  painting activity that helped with their fine motor skills, did yoga and mindfulness, an ice cream scoop name craft which helped with letter recognition.  Lastly, the Bluebirds' babies got a little messy, so they gave them a bubble bath 🛁
Tadpoles 1 had an amazing school year! They visited the Rainbow Fish classroom last week, and now they are looking forward to the fall!
Ava and Dylan enjoyed a Glamour Jewelry making class and mini-manicures and pedicures with Mrs. Jenkins. What a wonderful experience from our Teacher Treasures Silent Auction!
We are so proud of our Rainbow Fish!
The wonderful Kinderbear Ice Cream & Alliterations tradition continues.
First Grade celebrated their Teacher Treasure by making, decorating, and EATING cupcakes with Mrs. Blevins!
More fun Teacher Treasure adventures - lunch off campus with Mrs. Quintini & Mrs. Schulz! Also, Sterling enjoyed a walk to Blue Cypress Bookstore with our librarian Mrs. Johnson, and he got to pick out a keepsake book to take home.
As we look back at this year, the growth and development of our students has been remarkable. I have been struck by the resilience of our school community but especially our students. Through Ida, COVID, hospital visits and funerals, being the chaplain to these kids has been a been an absolute joy.
We have reclaimed our Episcopal Identity not only in religion class, chapels, and weekly Eucharist, but also learning to gaze at our neighborhoods, city, and world through an Episcopal lens that helps to keep our world view in clear focus despite everything that happens around us. We have learned to keep the transcendentals (the good, the true, and the beautiful) in our line of sight. We have engaged our spirits with the same about of enthusiasm as our minds and bodies. We have built community by engaging in worship together and also rallying around issues of hunger, natural disasters, wars, and mass shootings. There is a hunger inside of our students. A hunger for the Kingdom of God to be realized; to respond to injustice, suffering, and hate.
All of this comes through our grounded belief that each of us is created in the image of our loving, liberating, life giving God. And, the belief therefore that each of us has an innate dignity.
Thank you for trusting me to be the pastoral presence to your student this year. In seeking to be a blessing, I have been blessed by each of these smart, talented, and beautiful students. What an incredible year. Thanks be to God!

We love Ms. Lizzie and having fun in Aftercare!
The Fifth Grade class had a great time at Leo's house for their end of the year pool party!
Our 6th Grade scientists are building Rube Goldberg machines - whose machine will work before the year is over? The 8th Grade students built or remodeled houses according to building codes and then insulated the floors, windows and roof in order to try to preserve their simulated air conditioning in our May midday heat.
The Middle School Student Council hosted a party at Airline Skate Center on Monday night to celebrate the end of the school year. After Play Day on Tuesday, the 6th and 7th Grade students had a great time at their class parties at Defy Trampoline Park.
