From the Admissions Office
Re-enrollment
Re-enrollment is very important in planning for the following school year. If you have not re-enrolled yet please do so as soon as possible. We began offering spots to new families who have applied for the 2023-24 school year and we want to make sure your child’s spot is secured.
New Applications
We are still accepting new applications for the 2023-24 school year.
As current parents, you can tell the great story of St. Andrew’s better than anyone. Please continue to spread the good news of our school community to friends near and far. If you know any applicant families, please encourage them to choose St. Andrew’s. As the admission season continues, please help us to welcome our new families and prospective families on campus with a friendly smile and a warm welcome!
Prospective Parents Applying for 12 months – Grade 8
For prospective families we are offering in-person tours. If you or someone you know would like to have a one-on-one conversation to discuss the benefits of a St. Andrew’s Episcopal School education, the application process, space availability, or to become better acquainted, please schedule a phone call or in-person tour with Lisa Witter, Director of Enrollment Management & Financial Aid. Please register at the following link: Schedule a Tour

This week the Bluebirds 1 students learned about boats and ships. The children made and decorated a boat out of a paper plate.
The Redbirds 1 class explored our listening senses, and Callie taught Frances how to draw a bird.
Tadpoles 1 are making bees to go with their lesson of On the Go - Wings. They are also using various ways to learn letter recognition.

This year in Religion our Lower School is leading us through Lent embracing the three traditional disciplines of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving. Here is a picture of the fasting discipline that our Second Graders decided on together. We can learn a lot from our little ones who never cease to amaze me with the clarity, simplicity, and passion with which they grasp things that adults sometimes miss.

The Eighth Grade class created miniature Mardi Gras floats in Art last week.
6th Grade played a variation of a familiar card game to practice with negative numbers in math this week.
Fourth Grade loved performing in their class play recently. The two skits, The Gods and Goddesses Bake-Off and Pandora’s Box, were based on the Greek gods and goddesses.
