Sign the 6 Wins for Social Equity Network’s petition to demand that the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) end displacement!

MTC is the regional transportation agency for the nine-county Bay Area. Over the years, MTC’s transit-oriented development plans have contributed to the Bay Area’s displacement crisis. Since 2012, residents have advocated for MTC to condition its One Bay Area Grant (OBAG) program, which is more than $400 million, to incentivize cities to take action to prevent displacement, such as passing locally appropriate tenant protection policies and building more affordable housing.
Sign the 6 Wins Network’s petition and come to the meeting on July 27th to demand MTC dedicate all of the OBAG funds towards anti-displacement policies.
MTC needs to respond to community demands when it votes on OBAG next week! The 6 Wins Network is doing our part at the local level by advocating for stronger tenant protection and anti-eviction policies in cities like Santa Rosa, Oakland, Union City, Fremont, Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo, Burlingame, Mountain View, and San Jose. It's time for MTC to do its part.
The 6 Wins Network for Social Equity is a coalition of more than 20 social justice, faith, public health and environmental organizations across the Bay Area. We are the region’s only collaborative focused on shaping how regional planning decisions will affect the future of low-income communities and communities of color.
