Save the date for Urban Habitat’s 2022 State of the Region on Thursday, November 17!

We will discuss the implications of resegregation and how we can build power in communities across the Bay Area where low-income people of color live and work.
As resegregation continues to reshape the region, low-income communities of color are increasingly living at the expanding edges of the Bay Area, where they struggle to find quality jobs, affordable and stable housing, public transportation, and political representation. The pandemic has highlighted the indisputable fact that our systems are failing our most vulnerable communities.
To truly achieve regional equity in an era of resegregation, we must demand transformative policies and build the political power of disenfranchised communities.
