Help! I'm Learning!

JVLA is more than just online courses. Our goal is to provide students quality learning experiences that help them mature as thoughtful, independent learners. Our Learner Skills Initiative is designed to help students reflect on and build the skills needed for college (and life). One of those skills is help-seeking.
Parent Testimonial Regarding JVLA's Help-Seeking Strategy
"My two-cents: if students actually adopt the steps and apply them, I think that even the most successful ones would see a huge improvement in their well-being at school/college, and I wonder if there might be a corresponding drop in anxiety levels (there's been much talk of anxiety among the parents lately) as they feel empowered to seek help appropriately and when necessary. I wish that every Strake Jesuit student could have the benefit of what the JVLA team has created."
