Update: American Heart unveiled in Minneapolis!
enjoyed its official premiere on April 18 at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival. Audiences responded enthusiastically, so much so that we were asked back for three additional screenings and the film was awarded the Audience Choice Award

Celebrate World Refugee Day - tomorrow! (June 20)
brings to light the refugee experience in America today. So it's only appropriate that World Refugee Day 2013 is the first day of our new outreach initiative, "Twelve Months of American Heart
." Throughout the next year, we'll be hosting discussions, presenting at film festivals, taking part in symposiums, and generally letting the film guide us to wherever there is an eager audience. So, tomorrow, join us in beginning our countdown to World Refugee Day 2014
