Join fellow Preserve Burbank member and Heritage Commission Member, Jim Casey, for an entertaining and eye opening presentation on the state of Historic Preservation in Burbank and learn if your home (or one of your neighbors') might qualify for "Landmark Status." Does your home represent a classic architectural style? Did someone famous live in your home? Did something historic happen on your property? These are just a few of the questions you need to answer to determine if your home qualifies for a Landmark Designation. AND, if your home DOES qualify for an Historic Designation, what are the potential tax benefits of landmarking and applying for the Mills Act Tax Benefits?
