Join Us Thursday night for a Free Seminar to Answer all your IDCO Questions...
The Burbank City Council voted last week to implement an Interim Development Construction Ordinance (IDCO) that could limit your ability to add on to your home. This was a very heated issue and is intended as a short term fix to allow for the larger new construction design guidelines that the city is drafting that should be complete toward the end of the year. What does this IDCO mean for you? What restrictions will this IDCO potentially place on your ability to add on to your own property? Why is Burbank revising the guidelines for new construction?
These questions and more will be answered by Jim Casey, who you may know has been spearheading this issue for over two years along with dozens of other Preserve Burbank members.
Join us for a fun and informative hour of information and answers to all of your questions. Don’t believe what you’ve heard about this ordinance, Jim Casey is the closest thing to an expert on this IDCO, and as a fellow Burbank resident, local real estate agent and with a background in construction and architecture he will explain everything to you in simple terms. He'll even explain how the city has been allowing 5,000 square foot homes to be considered as 3,500 square feet with the model in the photo above.
This event should be standing room only so please RSVP at jim@jamespcasey.com or call to reserve your seat! 818-848-2888.
